Like many organizations, The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) has been transitioning to the cloud, moving away from a traditional network to a cloud architecture that makes connecting remote locations much less expensive to deploy and operate.

With a big vision, the small team set out to maintain business as usual and use new technologies like cloud applications and AI platforms to transform OSJCT into a more agile organization while ensuring it was adequately prepared to face new threats and vulnerabilities.

Turning To CyGlass

OSJCT used the Darktrace network detection and response solution (NDR), an on-premise appliance-based product. But for OSJCT, the cost and complexity of Darktrace was simply too much, and the deployment model did not match their cloud vision.

OSJCT knew they wanted a cloud-native platform, and because they had a small IT team, they were looking for Software as a Service (SaaS).

As a 100% cloud-native SaaS platform, CyGlass was a natural choice to replace Darktrace. CyGlass reduced operating costs by 2/3, removed the need for on-premise hardware and network taps and covered both network and cloud threat surfaces.
